This blog is the final product of my dedicated research on the controversial Mullaperiyar Dam since 2006. This dam constructed in 1895, in lime surkhi mortar when dam engineering was at infancy, now hangs like a Damocles Sword over the lives and properties of millions of people in the Central Kerala region.
